The competitive advantage of many businesses is driven by the skills and competencies of their staff. Despite the recession, skills gaps in North Hampshire are still having a detrimental impact on future expansion. We are working with the FE Colleges within North Hampshire to promote vocational training for our young people, and we will continue to campaign for an improvement in the match between skills supply and demand.
